I visited here multiple times before I wrote this review. That being said, the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, with historic pictures pertaining to the name of this restaurant. The service is top notch, Mel was as attentive as you could ever hope for, and the food is always delicious.
Commander's Grill is a hidden gem in a small town. Just a short drive from Evansville, but worth the trip. The food is amazing, and the service is great. Family owned and operated restaurant. Where you feel welcomed as if you were a guest in their home. Wonderful and delicious culinary experience. Kudos to the chefs!

Best hamburger I've had for awhile. Smallish, quaint diner with home cooking menu. Great comfort food. If you're in the right mood, this place can't be beat.
